Matt - Founder Of Flightpath Training

I first wanted to be a pilot from the age of 7. I started flying at 13 with the air cadets before getting a gliding scholarship with them flying out of RAF Henlow. After the course I was offered a place on the squadron to train to be an instructor.

I then got my PPL and went out the USA where I did my hour building before coming back to the UK and doing my CPL/IR at Bristol Flying Centre.

In 2007 I was fortunate enough to get a job with a type rating on the A320 with one of Europe’s largest airlines where I’ve been ever since. I got my command in 2013 and have about 7500 hours on the A320. In the little spare time I have left I am an A320 type rating ground school instructor.

Shannon - Marketing and Communications

"I mainly studied photography and media at university, while trying to be a freelance photographer I found myself  wanting to promote things on social media.

After finding Flightpath Training I am still able to combine my love for photography and promoting on social media.

I am responsible for managing and creating social media posts across all platforms as well as being a part of the marketing and communications team."

Humzah - Marketing and Communications

"I graduated in 2019 after studying Aviation Technology. Since then I completed my (f)ATPL, finishing in the same month as the pandemic started. Although getting a job on the flight deck is unlikely for me in the current market, I still wanted to be working in the aviation industry during the recovery so that I can stay up to date with my knowledge and expand my skills set., which I am able to do at Flightpath Training.

I am responsible for creating and managing the website, news letters, promotional material and more, working as a part of the Marketing and Communications team. "

Tira - 3D Digital Animator

"From young I have had a keen interest in the aviation industry, starting as an RAF cadet, to studying air cabin crew, to undergoing aircraft fire safety at BA headquarters.

My university career provided an education in 3D modelling and animation; and thus combining both of my interests, I began working for Flightpath Training with the motivation of creating 3D interactive simulations specialised for our webinars and training."
